SIMON BARFF LEAVES BLUEPRINT OPERATIONS

Following what has been a pivotal 5 years in the fortunes of Blueprint Operations (trading as Blueprint Machines), UK Managing Director, Simon Barff is to leave the business.

In a statement from the company, Sascha Bloudau, UK General Manager for the Gauselmann Group said: “It is with regret that we announce Simon’s departure after a successful and transformative 5 and a half years. Under his guidance the manufacturing business has seen continued growth across all areas of the UK business and has cemented the Gauselmann product line as the leading brand in the UK market”.

On his departure, Barff commented: “I have had a great time working with and for the Board of the Gauselmann Group, without whose support the success we achieved would have been impossible. Blueprint Operations has been able to set the bar for machine performance across all sectors of the business and that pedigree is now ingrained within the company’s DNA.

“I would like to thank Sascha, the group’s management team and all at Gauselmann for all their assistance and support, and wish them the very best for the future. I would finally like to thank my team, the wider group and most importantly, all of the customers and suppliers for their backing in making the last five years so successful”.

In the wake of the departure, Blueprint Operations is delighted to announce that the hugely respected industry figure and former Stanleybet International CEO, David Purvis, will be taking over the day-to-day business activities with immediate effect.

David brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from across the retail, online and land-based sectors, most recently working closely with the Gauselmann Group on several management consultation projects.

Purvis commented: “The opportunity to carry on the good work here at Blueprint Operations is an exciting challenge and one I’m relishing. The foundations of the company are firmly set, so we’ll be looking to build on the recent successes and solidify our market position with some fantastic new game releases and product development over the coming year.

“I’d like to take this opportunity to personally thank the team for welcoming me to the company and continuing to work seamlessly during this management restructure.”

In a final comment Bloudau added: “We would like to thank Simon for all of his efforts during his time with Blueprint and wish him all the best for his future ventures.

“The next chapter for Blueprint Operations is now in the hands of David and we couldn’t be more excited.”
